Hey guys,

Quick shout out. Sifu mentioned last Saturday that he wanted to put on a free forms workshop this Sunday. He didn’t realise at the time that tomorrow is Father’s Day.

So not to interrupt this special day, the forms workshop will take place next Sunday instead, after BJJ (11am).

See you on the mat.

Hi guys!

Tonight’s BJJ class will start with a Yoga warm up, then grading practice for white, blue and purple belts, finishing with flow rolling (sticking with the same partner).

Tomorrow’s Kung Fu lunch class with Sifu will be working on hand speed development.

Finally tomorrow night’s Wing Chun with Vadim at 6:30pm will be working on trapping hands flow drills and looking at split blocks application in combat.

See you on the mat.

PS: People are already booking for Peak Performance so be sure to register! Go to our EVENTS page at redboatkungfu.com to pay/enroll.

Tonight’s class will focus on the Wooden Dummy, with sparring and foundations class to follow.

Due to change in demand since COVID we are reducing the kids kung fu classes to Wednesday and Saturday only until further notice. Please contact us if you would like us to start live streaming the Wednesday class again.

PEAK PERFORMANCE STARTS SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST $249 members / $299 non-members

The next Peak Performance course starts in less than 2 weeks. This is the most comprehensive course on diet and training. It includes personalised training programs, exercise selection, workouts, volume, intensity, the Winning Mind, goal setting and outcomes. Everything you need to become the very best version of yourself. The secrets to stripping fat and putting on muscle and much more. Using these exact training and eating principles I went from 15% body fat to 7% in 6 weeks while putting on 5 kilos of muscle – and that is supposed to be impossible at my age. This course requires your attendance each Sunday for 6 weeks with a further 6 week monitoring and follow-up program.

Start date is 8am Sunday 23/8/2020. You will need a training diary for notes and training program records.

If you’re serious about achieving elite level health and fitness, sign up now!

Woohoo!

Well we’ve been back for 2 weeks now and the vibe is getting stronger everyday. Yesterday was a hoot, I had a very action packed agenda but we spent a large portion of the class having a crack. I think everyone finally felt “we’re back”.

My mission this Winter is to get everyone in top shape for Spring and Summer, so not only will we be doing some challenging high intensity training, I will alwso be sending out a video every second day on diet and nutrition advice (including meal ideas) plus layers of the Winning Mind.

I’m super excited about the schools birthday on the 2nd of August. Lets start taking names for the grading and the party.

See you on the mat!

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT!

A wonderful surprise for Sifu at John Will’s BJJ seminar was to be awarded his Black Belt in Will/Machado BJJ. Andrew wrote a lovely blog that will do better than anything I could write so here it is: https://andrewn23-myma.blogspot.com.au/2017/10/new-black-belt-rick-spain.html you will also find Andrew’s write up of the seminar on that blog site too.

And Sifu has recently recorded a Vlog about the day that can be seen here: https://youtu.be/V7ZLiBB4HvI

Just a quick update about the mid-season grading, due to the fact that the time between the Summer grading and this one is too short, we’ve decided to cancel it. However if you have been prepping for a tip then please speak up! As we can readily accommodate a group tip grading.

Once again big congrats to Sifu, it means a lot to him and a great deal to the organisation as a whole.

See you on the mat.
