Hi guys,

Tonight’s Wing Chun with Vadim at 6:30pm is working the clinch game, delivering strikes and getting the back from the clinch. Progress into free-flow sparring (16 oz gloves required – please bring your own or order a pair with Amy)

9am Saturday is Conditioning with Frances – not to be missed! As you saw in last week’s live stream she smashes!

10am with Sifu is Wing Chun. There will be some grading practice during the class, all levels should still attend even if you have no intention of grading this spring (Sep. 19th) it shows support for your training partners, leadership and an opportunity for you to hone your skills without the pressure of being assessed on them.

11am is Kids Kung Fu with Damien will be all about structure and drilling the core skillsets for guards, footwork, blocks and strikes.

See you on the mat.

What a fantastic day on Saturday. Great turnout, thank you one and all, so very proud of all belts awarded with obviously a huge mention to Dave and Frances. Massive milestone. Congratulations “Red Devils” it makes it all worthwhile.

So onwards and upwards, this week is all about attacking the back, a strategty all Wing Chun warriors need to know. Get the back, attack the back, control the back. Tonight’s class will be taken by our accomplished Black Belts John (Kraken) and Alex, as Amy and I have a breather. Tomorrow for a bit of fun I will be coaching true boxing with a tribute to Lomachenko. Looking at what makes him tick with some of his best tactics and training drills.

See you on the mat.

Tomorrow is 8:30am Conditioning class with Ross and 9:30am kids Kung Fu class with Damien.

10:30am is Dave and Frances’ Red Stripe grading.

New rules for gyms and fitness centres come into effect as of midnight tonight so while we will most certianly have the space to accommodate everyone wanting to watch, please ensure we all maintain social disancing rules (unless from same household).

Hey guys,

Thanks for an awe inspiring True Boxing class last night, one of my all time favourites. Excited to be back on a Wednesday night tonight, I have a cool and old school class planned so try to be there.

Lunch class with Zac will be continuing on this week’s theme of real-world applications of trapping hands and the perfect side kick, plus his own flavours added to the mix.

It’s uncertain times but the show must go on.

Stay focused out there, be tolerant of others, take no risks and above all, stay safe.

See you on the mat.

Hey guys!

As with the latest lifting of restrictions sparring class is back on tonight after the 6pm Wing Chun class and rolling is allowed tomorrow!

See you on the mat!

Hi guys,

Thanks for last night great class. We did some pretty intense circuit drills that everyone completed, well done. Then we explored the versatility of Pak Sau and the different variations of it. Plus we chatted about the missing principles of Wing Chun that actually make it work.

Look out for my new vlog “Shooting from the Lip” and I’ll see you tonight for True Boxing where we’ll cover dealing with the jab and the cross with parrys and footwork principle “step up and over”.

See you on the mat.

Sifu
