What is Red Boat Kung Fu?
Red Boat Kung Fu, headed by Sifu Rick Spain, has been operating in Sydney since 1986. At that time Sifu Rick Spain was still operating under the auspices of Grandmaster William Cheung who was a life-long friend of the late Bruce Lee and live-in disciple of late Grandmaster Ip Man.
Growing up on the mat with this deep rooted connection to Wing Chun history and tradition, Red Boat Kung Fu not only has the resources and developments you would expect in a modern MMA school, but also a wealth of tradition and “old school” practices that takes you back to what you imagine it would have been like to train in the Shaolin Temple hundreds of years ago.
